The following is a list of requirements necessary to be able to apply for immigration to Canada through the Express Entry program.

Basic Steps to apply for Federal Skilled Worker Program

• Create an Express Entry profile, Apply as a skilled worker make an Expression of Interest (EOI) and submit it to CIC.

NOWTHWESTERN TERROTORIES NOMINEE PROGRAM

The Canada-Northwest Territories Agreement on Territorial Nominees establishes the Northwest Territories Nominee Program, a process that provides eligible Foreign Nationals a pathway to becoming permanent Canadian residents.

The prospective applicant must:

Invest:

A minimum of $300,000 CDN equity* into starting or buying a business within the corporate boundaries of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories; or

ONTARIO NOMINEE PROGRAM

You may be eligible for this program if you have a viable business activity that will bring significant economic benefit to our province. If we approve your proposal, your key staff may apply for a temporary work permit in order to establish your business.

To be eligible to apply for the Corporate Stream, both your corporation and key staff need to fulfill specific criteria:

Firstly, your corporation needs to commit to making a substantial investment of at least $5 million CDN, which you can direct towards either establishing a new business or enhancing an existing one.

Additionally, an essential criterion requires you to create five full-time, permanent positions. You must designate these positions for Canadian citizens or permanent residents, demonstrating your commitment to making a positive contribution to the local workforce.

By meeting these stipulations, your corporation aligns with the necessary prerequisites to pursue the Corporate Stream, facilitating a smoother application process and potential business development opportunities within the chosen location.

Currently employed with the corporation and essential to the establishment, continued operation, and success of the business in Ontario are the key staff seeking nomination.

After establishing your business in Ontario, key staff must achieve a minimum language requirement of Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB 4) level or its equivalent to qualify for nomination.

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program: Entrepreneur

The following steps are required to participate in the Entrepreneur Stream:

Register an online Expression of Interest (EOI).

Your online EOI is entered into the selection pool and ranked by score. Periodically, the ministry will draw registrants from the EOI selection pool and invite them to apply to the OINP Entrepreneur Stream.

If you are invited to apply, you can submit a complete application and application fee to the OINP.

If your application is approved, you will sign a Performance Agreement outlining the commitments you have made in your EOI to invest and create jobs in Ontario.

QUEBEC INVESTOR PROGRAM

Have experience in management in a legal farming, commercial or industrial business, or in a legal professional business where the staff, excluding the investor, occupies at least the equivalent of two full-time jobs, or for an international agency or a government or one of its departments or agencies; We define management experience as the exercise, for at least two years in the five years preceding the application for a selection certificate, of duties related to the planning, management and control of financial resources and of human or material resources under your authority;

the experience does not include experience acquired in the context of an apprenticeship, training or specialization process attested to by a diploma. START UP VISA

To be eligible for the Start-up Visa Program, you must:

Before you can apply for the Start-up Visa Program, you must have the support of a designated organization. These are business groups that have been approved to invest in or support possible start-ups.

If a designated organization decides to support your business, it will give you a Letter of Support. You must include the Letter of Support with your application. If you do not include the letter or do not meet any of the requirements below, we will refuse your application. Up to five people can apply for the Start-up Visa Program as owners of a single business. However, to meet the ownership requirements:

each applicant must hold at least 10 percent of the voting rights in the business and

the designated organization and the applicants must jointly hold more than 50 per cent of the voting rights in the business.

SPONSORING YOUR FAMILY

The immigrants who are eligible to use this family sponsoring process are regarded as the Family Class.

If you become a permanent resident, you can live, study and work in Canada.
